Legends suchas , Joe Hernandez (Little Joe & The Latiners), Ruben Ramos, Augustine Ramirez, Isdrio Lopez, Jimmy Edwards and The Latin Breed, Rudy Guerra, Manny Guerra, Carlos Guzman, Sunny Ozuna and many pioneers started La Onda Chicana and the Tejano Style, some groups keyboards, some keyboards and accordion and some Keyboards, brass and accordion. These very bands compete every year for various categories in their proper fit artist such as: Jay Perez, David Lee Garza Y Los Musicales, Joe Posada, Stampede, Ram Herrera, David Mares and many many more. This is the essence of Chicano Music:
Some call it: Tejano, Some Call It: Chicano. It's the same it never changes. 30+ years of identifying, I call it a CULTURE, of music played by Chicanos for Chicanos or the mexican/ latino plays his Accordion for his compadre! If you like the Brass Section, keyboards or La Accordion, one thing we have in common y eso son COLORES- CAFE. And the Brown Sugar Honies. God Bless Mi Raza!
